Licensing

One registered copy of the software may be used by a single person who uses the software personally on up to 5 computers to process personal data (home use). When used to process non-personal data (e.g. the workplace, but including processing non-personal data on a personal computer), a separate license must be purchased for each installation of the program (including one per virtual machine). Installing the program on a server or on a single workstation used non-simultaneously by multiple people, counts as one installation.

SyncBack Touch

SyncBack Touch provides a simple and convenient way to access files on a remote device either over a local network or the Internet. Unlike FTP it has none of the complexities of configuration or issues of compatibility.

SyncBack Touch is a cross-platform service that works with SyncBackPro or SyncBackSE to remotely access a device’s file system in order to perform backup/restore and sync operations.

The SyncBack Touch application (available for Windows, OSX and Android) is free to download and install. SyncBackPro and SyncBackSE ship with two free connections to SyncBack Touch so you can not only backup your Windows files, but also (for example) a phone and an Android mobile device.

Simply install SyncBack Touch on the device you want to access (Windows, OS X or Android) then create a profile on SyncBackPro/SE to copy files to and from that device.

For example, backup all your photos as soon as your mobile device connects to your local Wi-Fi!

Locked Files? No Problem. Install SyncBack Touch locally so there's no need to run SyncBackPro/SE as an admin to copy locked files.

Backing up your Mac

Simply install SyncBack touch on your Mac and start it. Then create a SyncBack Touch profile in SyncBackPro or SyncBackSE that connects to your Mac.

It’s the same as backing up your Mac, install Touch on your Android device, start it and then create a SyncBack Touch profile in SyncBackPro or SyncBackSE that connects to your Android device.

Backing up remote Windows computers

These computers can be on the same network as you or accessible via the Internet.

Simply install SyncBack Touch on the Windows computers you want to backup and then create a SyncBack Touch profile in SyncBackPro or SyncBackSE that connects to those computers. With SyncBackPro you can create just one profile to backup multiple SyncBack Touch devices.

SyncBackPro or SyncBackSE will now back up the remote Windows computers.

Replace your FTP server

SyncBack Touch can be used instead of an FTP server. FTP and Touch provide the same functionality, i.e. access to files over a network. However, Touch has numerous benefits over FTP with the main benefit being simplicity.
